What this is
UnderComps tracks live eBay auctions for baseball, football and basketball cards and shows the ones worth watching: auctions with at least one bid, a current bid of $200 or more, and less than 24 hours to go. Every listing links straight to eBay, where you bid as usual.
How it works
- Fresh data. Listings come from eBay's official API. Auctions ending in the next two hours refresh every 10 minutes from 6 PM to midnight Central, when most auctions close, and every 30 minutes the rest of the day. The full 24-hour list refreshes hourly.
- The Top 30. Within each sport, every auction is ranked by current bid and, separately, by number of bids. The two ranks count equally, with a small edge for auctions ending tonight. We show one copy of each card and leave out lots, reprints and custom cards.
- Eras and filters. Eras come from the year in each listing's title. Graded, raw and rookie filters are read from titles too, so a listing with an unusual title can land in the wrong place.
