2015–2022 Football Card Hot Auctions

Panini's Prizm, Optic, Select, Contenders and National Treasures shaped these years. Patrick Mahomes's 2017 rookies lead the era, followed by Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson (2018), Joe Burrow, Justin Herbert and Justin Jefferson (2020), and Ja'Marr Chase (2021). Silver Prizms and Contenders Rookie Ticket autos are the benchmark cards for most players.

Low-numbered color parallels and rookie patch autographs carry the largest premiums. Because so many of these cards were graded during the 2020 and 2021 boom, gem mint copies of common versions are plentiful, while true short prints stay scarce.
